Batur Natural Hot Spring

A soak in natural volcanic hot springs on the shore of Lake Batur - the perfect way to ease tired legs after the sunrise trek, with the caldera rising all around you.

The Experience

The Hot Springs

Volcanic Water by the Lake

Mineral-rich water, warmed deep underground by Mount Batur, fills a series of pools right beside Lake Batur. Slip in and let the heat work on tired muscles while you look out over the calm water and the caldera walls rising all around.

After the Trek

Earn Your Soak

Nothing beats a hot spring after a pre-dawn summit hike. The warm water eases stiff legs and shakes off the cold mountain air, so you finish the morning feeling relaxed rather than wrecked - the ideal end to the climb.
