Turquoise water and white sand at the foot of a road carved through a limestone cliff.
Melasti is one of the cleanest beaches in the south, and you reach it by driving down a road carved straight through a towering limestone cliff - the approach alone is worth the trip. At the bottom you'll find turquoise water, white sand, and dramatic white walls rising on either side.
It's a favourite for a swim and a wander, with calm water and space to relax. The cliffs make it feel tucked away from the world, even when the south is busy.
