At the bottom of a few hundred cliff steps near Ungasan - a wide, empty beach with sea caves and a reef break.
Green Bowl earns its quiet through effort: a long staircase drops from the clifftop to the sand, several hundred steps down and back up again. That climb is the main reason it stays one of the least-visited beaches on the peninsula. Take it slow, bring water, and give yourself time for the return.
At the bottom, a wide stretch of sand opens up at low tide, backed by limestone cliffs and a couple of sea caves you can explore when the water is out. A small temple sits on the rocks above. At high tide the sand shrinks and the caves fill, so it's a different place depending on when you arrive.
Offshore, Green Bowl has a reef break that draws experienced surfers at the right tide. For everyone else it's a spot to watch, wade, and have the sand largely to yourself. Swimming is over reef and rock, so it suits confident swimmers who read the conditions rather than families with small kids.
