Ubud Culture Day

Temples, rice terraces, a royal palace, and a traditional Balinese dance - the cultural heart of Ubud in one unhurried day, with your own private car and a local guide who knows the stories behind each place.

What You'll Visit

Stop 1

Tegalalang Rice Terrace & Coffee Plantation

We begin at the iconic stepped rice fields north of Ubud, still fed by Bali's thousand-year-old subak irrigation system. Right beside it, walk through a working plantation to see how coffee grows and taste the famous kopi luwak straight from the source. Tastings are complimentary.

Stop 2

Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple

Bali's most sacred spring temple, where Balinese Hindus have performed the melukat purification ritual for over a thousand years. You're welcome to join in yourself - we'll arrange a sarong and walk you through the etiquette so you can take part with confidence and respect.

Stop 3

Ubud Royal Palace & Art Market

Step inside Puri Saren Agung, the ornate home of Ubud's royal family and the beating heart of the town's arts scene. Just across the road, the traditional market is the place to browse handmade crafts, textiles, and souvenirs - your guide will help you get a fair price.

Stop 4

Traditional Balinese Dance

We close the day with a live Barong or Legong performance - gilded costumes, hypnotic gamelan music, and centuries-old stories of good and evil brought to life. A fitting, unforgettable end to a full day of Balinese culture.
